Would My 1987 Dakota V6 Be Too Loud In Utah If I Put A 3” Exhaust On It?
i want to put a 3” exhaust on my 87 dakota, that includes edelbrock shorty headers that both will go into a single universal 3”, 3way catalytic converter, that will go into a flowmaster super 44 muffler with a single 3” inlet and dual 2.5” oulets, then from there straight out the back. i know i want to get rid of the stock 2” converters, pipes and muffler
Or ill do the same thing with a 2.5” converter and a 2.5” in/ dual out muffler depending on my options
will this be too loud and illegal in utah? or will this be “overkill” thanks for any input
(P.S., If youre gonna ask “is it worth it” or anything negative like that please just keep to yourself, i love my truck, it has very high sentimental value.)
