Wording For “stock The Bar” Wedding Shower Invite?

I’m hosting a shower for two of my friends who are getting hitched…it’s going to be a “stock the bar” event, since they’ve been living together for quite some time, and really aren’t registering for anything. I’ve seen a few invites online, but nothing is jumping out at me. I have a graphic design side business, so designing them will be no problem…I just want something fun and creative for the wording. Anyone have any suggestions?

Get ‘Em Drunk, Then Get ‘Em Hitched!
instead of lions and tigers and bears oh my (for babies of course) update it to… Wines and Cocktails and Glassware Oh my, or something along those lines… fill it in thats the first thing that popped into my head.
Maybe do for the shower a list of drinks or drinkware include either in an Alphabet gift list.
Like A for Amaretto, B for Brandy Sniffers, C Cabernet and so on, things like that so that you get a mix of different sorts… You might exclude some hard to find letters, go to the grocery store and look to see what all they have and make sure there are plenty of price ranges for each letter, so no one gets stuck with a letter that has one bottle that happens to be 50 bucks.
    “Pub”lic Gathering
You’ve stumble upon an invitation to ____________ and _____________ wedding Shower. We are hosting this event to Get ‘Em Drunk, and Get ‘Em Hitched, and we need your help! Since this couple has no items to register for we’ve decided to have a “pub”lic gathering to stock their bar.
    Your Hostess… _________________
    Drunken’ Metting Place ____________
    Stumble in at _____________
    Reserved Seats only!
The only request we have for gifting is that you buy a gift that can be associated with the letter enclosed, wether it be alcohol, glassware and any other party items.
And print off a letter and include one letter in each envelope!

perhaps you can set it up as a liquor store registry….do the whole your invited thing and put in there that they are registered at a local liquor store chain or what not,…and put there favorites in the invite too…they get booze..yall all get drunk…good times…

    say something like…
Today we celebrate the wedding to be of________________
So we ask that you raise a drink in congratulations and bring some for the bride and groom to be.
From Jim (Beam) to Johnny (Walker) all is welcome.
Try playing on names of their favorite drink and have fun

My brother and sister-in-law were simply thrown a “Bar Shower”. It indicated a more casual, couples atmosphere, and the name said it all!
You could word it: “Come help {bride} and {groom} throw the ultimate party by joining in our party in honor of their coming wedding!”
Once you have listed all of the particulars, a simple line at the bottom stated “Please theme your gifts in the Party and Bar Attire”. Or something to that effect.
