How To Update Stock Gadget In Vista 64?

I installed the Stock Market gadget in my Vista 64 program sidebar, but have noticed that the only time it updates is when I first boot up the computer or anytime I re-boot. Anyone know how to keep this gadget updating itself periodically?

when someone buys stock do they really have to watch cnbc everyday to see how it is doing? what if they dont watch cnbc or read the wall street journal everyday and the price goes down how would you know to get out?
